We're not just another gambling site. 998hihi was built with a clear purpose: to give Malaysian players a safe, fair, and genuinely enjoyable online casino experience. Over 500,000 active members choose 998hihi every month — and that's no accident.
998hihi was founded in 2018 — when online gambling in Malaysia was still in its early stages. Our founders saw a clear gap: many Malaysian players wanted to play online, but the platforms available at the time were largely foreign operators that did not understand local needs, language, or culture.
That is where 998hihi was born — a platform built from the ground up with a Malaysian mindset. A Bahasa Melayu interface, deposits via Touch 'n Go eWallet and DuitNow, promotions tied to local celebrations like Hari Raya and Chinese New Year, and a customer support team that speaks Bahasa Melayu.
Over seven years in operation, 998hihi has grown from a small platform into one of Malaysia's most trusted online casino destinations, with over 500,000 active members. That success didn't come from advertising alone — it came from the consistent trust our players have placed in us, because we always pay on time, always play fair, and have stood by our players through every update and improvement along the way.
Six reasons why over 500,000 Malaysian players choose 998hihi

Healthy GamingFrom a small idea in 2018 to Malaysia's leading online casino platform today — this is the story of 998hihi, built on a foundation of trust and dedication.
The platform launched with a limited game selection but a full commitment to trust and player security. 5,000 members signed up within the first month.
Live baccarat with real dealers was introduced — player response was overwhelmingly positive. Over 50,000 active members by year end. Touch 'n Go integration was rolled out.
During Malaysia's movement control orders, demand for online platforms surged. 998hihi invested in new server infrastructure to ensure a seamless experience for the hundreds of thousands of users who joined during that period.
Sports Betting was launched with a focus on the Malaysia Super League and EPL. Players can now bet on sports and play casino games all in one platform. DuitNow and GrabPay are now fully supported.
A five-tier VIP programme was introduced. 998hihi reached a historic milestone — 500,000 monthly active members. A faster, redesigned interface optimised for mobile was also launched.
998hihi continues to invest in the latest technology, new game additions, and ongoing improvements to the player experience — with one goal: to be Malaysia's number one online casino platform.
These values aren't just words on an office wall — they are the principles that guide every decision we make, every single day.
All promotion terms are written clearly. No hidden charges, no confusing fine print. What you read is what you get.
We pay every cent of players' winnings on time, no excuses. Over seven years of operation, our payout record stands among the best in the industry.
Every product decision we make starts with one question: is this good for our players? Player feedback is the primary guide behind everything 998hihi builds.
The online casino industry moves fast. 998hihi stays ahead — by adding the latest games, new payment technology, and better features for our players.
We understand Malaysian players because we are part of the same community. From Hari Raya promotions to Liga Super support — 998hihi is the platform that truly gets you.
We believe responsible gambling is key to a healthy industry. Self-control tools and support for players who need help are always available, free of charge.
In the online casino industry, trust cannot be bought with advertising — it must be earned through consistent action, day after day, month after month, year after year. 998hihi understands this better than anyone. When a player from Petaling Jaya deposits RM200 and wins RM800 in a baccarat session, we want them to feel confident that the money will be in their bank account within a reasonable time — not after weeks of waiting or wrestling with unreasonable withdrawal procedures.
That is why 998hihi has invested heavily in payment infrastructure. With full support for Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and FPX internet banking including Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks — deposits are instant and withdrawals are settled within 15 minutes for standard amounts. We don't want players' winnings sitting "stuck" in the system — that's your money, and you deserve it fast.
Many Malaysian players have felt out of place on international platforms — foreign-language interfaces, unfamiliar payment methods, and customer support that doesn't understand the local context. At 998hihi, that experience simply doesn't exist. From the moment you open the site, everything is in natural Bahasa Melayu. Our promotions are designed around Malaysian festivities and events — from special bonuses for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Chinese New Year, and Hari Malaysia, to sports bonuses during key Harimau Malaya or Malaysia Super League matches.
Our team is made up of Malaysians who deeply understand what local players want and need. When a player from Kota Bharu contacts 998hihi customer support at 3am with a question about badminton betting — our Bahasa Melayu-speaking agent will be there to help straight away. That's the difference between a platform that talks about customer satisfaction and one that actually delivers it.
When you play slots or baccarat at 998hihi, you might wonder: is this actually fair? The answer is yes — and we can prove it. All RNG-based games on 998hihi are independently tested and audited by recognised third-party certification bodies. This means the outcome of every slot spin and every card dealt in RNG baccarat is truly random and cannot be manipulated by anyone — including 998hihi itself.
For Live Casino games like live baccarat, Dragon Tiger, and live roulette — you can see everything with your own eyes. Real dealers, real physical cards, real tables streamed live in HD video. No algorithm determines the outcome — just cards physically shuffled and dealt right in front of you. This level of transparency is something no RNG can match.
998hihi is not a short-sighted company. We are here for the long haul, and that means building meaningful relationships with the Malaysian player community. From our five-tier VIP programme — rewarding loyalty with up to 10% cashback, physical gifts, and access to exclusive events — we are always looking for ways to deliver more value to our dedicated members.
We also recognise that our responsibility extends beyond entertainment. 998hihi's responsible gaming programme includes optional deposit limits, daily and weekly loss limits, self-exclusion tools, and support for players who need help managing their gambling habits. Because ultimately, happy and healthy players are the foundation of a sustainable online casino community.
