Experience the real casino atmosphere from the comfort of your home. At 998hihi, over 20 live baccarat tables are waiting — from standard tables starting as low as RM10, to Speed Baccarat for fast-paced players, right up to exclusive VIP tables with high betting limits.
Baccarat has just three betting options — simple, clear-cut, and excellent odds.
Baccarat is one of the easiest casino games to learn. Unlike blackjack, which requires a strategic decision on every hand, baccarat is nearly fully automatic once you've chosen which side to back.
| Card | Value | Calculation Example |
|---|---|---|
| 2 – 9 | Face value | 7 + 5 = 12 → Points: 2 |
| 10, J, Q, K | 0 points | K + 9 = 9 → Points: 9 |
| Ace (A) | 1 point | A + 8 = 9 → Points: 9 |
| Natural 8 | Auto Win | No third card dealt |
| Natural 9 | Auto Win | Best win (Le Grande) |
If you've played baccarat on other platforms and felt something was off — maybe it was too slow, the interface was confusing, or the dealer was hard to follow — you're not alone. Many Malaysian players end up at 998hihi after trying several other platforms, and most of them say the same thing: the difference is clear from the very first minute.
First, video quality. All 998hihi live baccarat tables use genuine HD streaming — not recordings or simulations. You can clearly see every card the dealer holds, their hand movements while shuffling and dealing, and their expressions during tense rounds. This matters because many experienced baccarat players actually read patterns from card movements, and a crisp live view makes all the difference.
At 998hihi, we offer both — live baccarat with real dealers and RNG Baccarat (random number generator). For serious Malaysian players, live baccarat is the go-to choice because it gives you the peace of mind that no algorithm is influencing the outcome. You see the dealer hold the cards, you see them turned over — complete transparency.
RNG Baccarat is better suited for players who prefer to play at their own pace, free from time pressure and without waiting for others at the table. It also loads faster and works well as a practice mode for new players looking to get comfortable with the rules and game flow before stepping up to a live table. 998hihi offers a free practice mode for RNG Baccarat — you can play with no real-money risk for as long as you like.
Baccarat holds a special place in Asian gambling culture. In Malaysia especially, it ranks among the most popular casino games — surpassing blackjack and roulette. Much of the appeal comes down to its straightforward betting system and some of the best odds in the house, with a casino edge of just 1.06% on the Banker bet.
Malaysian players who frequent resort casinos like Genting will feel right at home at a 998hihi baccarat table — the format and rules are identical. The difference is you skip the travel costs, there's no dress code, and you can play from your phone while relaxing at home in Shah Alam, Ipoh, Johor Bahru, or Kota Kinabalu. That convenience is what makes 998hihi the baccarat platform of choice for the modern Malaysian player.
One thing every experienced baccarat player agrees on is that disciplined bankroll management is the key to an enjoyable, sustainable experience. 998hihi encourages players to set a daily limit before playing using the deposit limit feature in account settings. Start with bets no greater than 2–3% of your total bankroll per session — this helps you play longer and get through more hands.
Never chase losses by sharply increasing your bets — this is the most common mistake baccarat players make and it rarely ends well. Instead, keep your bets consistent and let the statistics work in your favour over the long run. 998hihi's weekly 8% live casino cashback is a solid safety net — even during a losing session, you'll still recover a portion of your net losses every Tuesday.
Every table is streamed in crisp HD resolution. See every card clearly — no blurry pixels, no disruptive lag.
The 998hihi platform is fully available in Malay. No confusion with foreign terms — every button and instruction is easy to understand.
Bead plate, Big Road, Small Road — all baccarat road maps are available in real time to help you spot patterns during your session.
For players who prefer a fast pace — 998hihi Speed Baccarat completes each round in just 27 seconds. More hands per hour.
All 998hihi baccarat tables work seamlessly on Android and iPhone. No app download needed — just play directly through your browser.
All 998hihi live baccarat tables use real physical cards shuffled in real time. No digital manipulation is possible.
